Hendersonville, Tennessee – The Hendersonville Police Department, along with Hendersonville, TN FOP Lodge 63, recently held a special event to recognize the outstanding service of several officers and detectives. This Saturday night celebration was a testament to the dedication and excellence displayed by these law enforcement professionals.
Each award presented acknowledged different aspects of service and policing, highlighting the diverse roles and contributions of the department’s personnel. The esteemed ‘Rozzer Award’ for Officer of the Year was bestowed upon Detective Thomas Holman, recognizing his exceptional service and commitment to the community.
The ‘Roosevelt Award’ for Supervisor of the Year went to Sergeant Jacob Sprouls, honoring his leadership and oversight abilities. The Lifesaver Award, celebrating acts of bravery and life-saving efforts, was jointly awarded to Sergeant David Shinn and Officer Michael Lloyd.
Officer Tim Hall received the ‘Safe Roads Award’, acknowledging his efforts in maintaining safety on the roads. The ‘Community Caretaker Award’ was given to Officer Ashley Witte for her dedication to community service and care.
In recognition of efforts to keep the streets safe and clean, the ‘Clean Streets Award’ was awarded to Officer Jackie Finley. The ‘Greenhorn Award’, highlighting the contributions of newer members, went to Lieutenant Neal Harris.
Lastly, the ‘Holmes Award’ was presented to Detective Betsy Mullins, celebrating her investigative skills and achievements.
