Giles County airplane crash claims two lives

Giles County, Tennessee – A devastating incident occurred in Giles County near Pulaski, where a single-engine airplane crash resulted in two fatalities. This tragic event has been confirmed by both the Giles County Sheriff’s Office and Giles County EMS.

The crash was reported near the boundary with Marshall County, as stated by Capt. Joe Purvis. Details emerged from the Abernathy Field Airport in Pulaski, revealing that the aircraft involved was a single-engine Beechcraft. The airport officials disclosed that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had been tracking the airplane but lost contact with it around 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Flight tracking website FlightAware.com provided additional insights into the ill-fated journey of the aircraft, registered as TN: N5891j. It took off from Downtown Island Home Airport in Knoxville at 10:48 a.m. ET, destined for Pulaski. Tragically, the plane crashed shortly after 11 a.m. central time. The ownership of the plane is linked to Plantation Reclaimed Inc.

As of now, the exact number of passengers aboard at the time of the crash remains uncertain. Additionally, the identities of those who lost their lives have yet to be released.
