Nashville, Tennessee – Following a security breach at Nashville International Airport (BNA), where a woman managed to board a flight without a ticket, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is taking steps to enhance security measures.

The incident, which occurred on February 7, involved a woman who bypassed the barrier at the checkpoint, where passengers are required to show their ID and boarding pass. She then joined a line to have her bags screened and managed to board an American Airlines flight bound for Los Angeles without possessing a boarding pass. The FBI stated that the woman was detained for questioning upon arrival in Los Angeles but has not been charged at present.
In response to this security lapse, TSA at Nashville International Airport is implementing additional precautions to prevent similar incidents in the future.
