Jordan Lewis, a resident of Hendersonville, has been safely located.
Hendersonville authorities report that Lewis, aged 38, departed his residence early on Saturday, Oct. 28, at about 5:30 a.m.
He reportedly left on foot and is a habitual walker, yet he occasionally becomes disoriented and gets lost.
When last observed, Lewis was attired in black sweatpants and a charcoal grey zip-up hoodie. Standing 6 feet tall and weighing 195 pounds, he has shoulder-length brown hair.
The Hendersonville police noted that Lewis previously walked as far as the Rivergate Mall area. However, they also mentioned that he tends to become agitated in the presence of strangers, often leading to confrontations with officers, a behavior attributed to his autism.
The police announced on Saturday afternoon that Lewis was found unharmed.
